ROLE:

 SOUND MANAGER IN TECHNICAL TEAM

For our group audiovisual project, I had a variety of sound management responsibilities. I had to merge sound effects and monitor an audio mixing board to make sure sound levels were correct while troubleshooting any sound system issues. I worked with the sound cues to time audit each audio file and group rehearsals. With some teamwork and planning, we were able to consolidate our timestamps and create a merged audio file. I was able to enhance and refine my technical work with a sound system and I was further able to build my teamwork, coordination, time management, work ethic, and systematized work. I was in charge of a part of the sound system which was a big reason for the success of our project and in a bigger sense for our great performance.
